Novel Update

Interesting turn of events whilst writing this morning...my heroine appears to have lost her arm...because I cut it off...with an axe. It was for her own good, she was going to die if I left it there. Funny how things turn out, even I didn't see that one coming.

And it seems the loss of an arm rather changes things somewhat. Interesting. What will happen next? Don't ask me, I'm just the author.

Incidentally, does anyone know how one goes about sewing/stitching up an open wound, such as a hacked off arm, in Pre Medieval times? Or just Medieval times at that? My heroine is currently bleeding to death as I figure out the method.
